Tower
of Excellence FAQ's
May
I submit more than one nomination?
Yes.
It’s FREE, so nominate your company as well as someone that’s
helped your company be successful in the past year.
How
are the awards judged?
An independent
panel of 3-5 experienced professionals reviews the award submissions.
This judges’ panel is not actively involved in the corporate
housing industry, in either a provider or partner capacity. The
panel is made up of non-profit executives, marketing professionals,
financial/accounting professional, and others familiar with the
volunteer nature of associations. Each award submission is reviewed
according to the objective criteria set forth for each category
and is weighed individually on its own merits.
Do
other CHPA members have access to my nomination?
No. The
process is managed by CHPA staff and other members do not have access
to anything except the award winners. Any financial information
submitted is kept confidential.
May
I submit a nomination in more than one category?
Yes.
If your company performed well and you want to recognize an exemplary
employee, please submit more than one nomination form. Each nomination
is weighed against the objective criteria for each category.
Do
I need to have supporting materials? What do the judges look for
in winning nominations?
It is
highly encouraged to submit supporting materials with each nomination.
Photos, news articles, etc., are acceptable – and encouraged
– to support the candidate’s nomination.
Are winners notified
in advance?
No, the winners are announced
at the Industry Event during CHPA’s annual conference.
